LIFE ENHANCEMENT RESOURCES HEALTH MINISTRY is the reality that arose from the vision and passion of a man who was trying to save his own life.

Darrell Stoffels, Certified Nutritional Consultant and Certified Naturopathic Endocrinologist, is a passionate student of health. He has done massage therapy; bioenergetic testing methods (including Test and Response, Contact Reflex Analysis, Vega Testing and E.A.V.); Correlative Laboratory Urinalysis;  Live Blood Microscopy; Bio Energy Field Enhancement; Ozone Therapy; Far InfraRed Sauna Therapy; and Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy. He is a researcher, formulator, and Optimum Health educator. In college he majored in Bible and psychology, was a minister, and was always learning.

January 1970 found him D.O.A. on the side the San Diego Freeway in the San Fernando Valley in California. The catastrophic auto accident crushed the back of his head, broke his sternum and badly bruised his heart, collapsed a lung, broke his nose, face, and jaw, compound fractured his left femur, and lacerated his left arm, face and chest. Initially considered to be ready for a trip to the morgue, about an hour later someone noticed vital signs, and Darrell was rushed to a trauma center. Upgraded to “coma” (for four days), he had massive cerebral hemorrhage and blood and spinal fluid leaking from his ears for ten days, during which time his doctors would not even begin setting broken bones for fear of losing the little life that was left in him. The prognosis was that Darrell would likely never walk again and possibly end up a “vegetable.”

Over the next two months he went through 36 hours of surgery and 37 pints of blood transfusions, which resulted in having his left common femoral artery tied off permanently to stop the blood loss, and a chronic staph infection and chronic osteomylelitis, complete and total atrophy of the left gastroc or calf muscle, and peroneal nerve damage resulting in a drop foot. . At 6’1'’, his body weight dropped from 165 lbs. to 90 lbs. In all, he spent six months in a hospital bed, then graduated to a wheelchair, crutches, a cane and finally was able to walk unaided. Darrell stumbled through life doing many different jobs. He left “organized” religion, then worked in bartending, singing and playing guitar, insurance sales, construction, golf course grounds keeping, auto body and paint repair, auto repossession (in Los Angeles including Watts and South Central), and massage therapy. In 1986, due to life stress, poor choices, poor diet, toxicity, malnutrition, and breaking all of God’s Natural Laws, Darrell experienced suppressed immune function, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, plaque in the carotid and aortic arteries, heart arrhythmias, angina, skin fungus problems, depression, loss of lung capacity, painful joints, constant fever, osteopenia, and many other health problems like coming down with the flu really bad almost every year.. It is a real bummer to realize that you are dying of "old age" at 35. With well over a million miles driven, he has been rear-ended several times, had a drunk driver pull out in front of him on Hwy 65 in California, had a garage door spring break and cause the door to slam down on the back of his neck, and in all has had at least 13 significant spinal injuries. This has caused serious intervertebral spinal disc degeneration. In more recent years he experienced so much chronic stress that he found himself in the terminal stages of adrenal stress and failure, and all of the horrible symptoms that go along with that including total sexual impotency and a second battle with atherosclerosis and heart disease. Talk about depressing!!!!!!!

Sick and tired of being sick and tired, Darrell started and continued researching and learning how the body works. He read books, listened to tapes, went to many seminars and workshops, and passionately committed himself to learning everything he could about science and health. Not satisfied with the results from the health products available in the health food industry, he began producing his own formulas in 1990 and made much greater improvements in his own health than he had ever experienced before. His friends and associates noticed the changes and wanted to experience the formulas too. So by word of mouth, people began getting results through employing correct lifestyle  information and better resources with which to nourish and detoxify their bodies.

In his own life, his own nutritional formulas, combined the best of other formulations, has resulted in his left calf regrowing after 20 years of total atrophy, his bone scan shows bone density in the hip of 0.6 standard deviations stronger than a 20 year old, restoration of sexual libido to better than it was in his twenties, not getting the flu in way over 20 years, having boundless energy and vitality, and looking forward to getting better and better every day for the rest of his life! In the past few years, Darrell developed a strategy and protocol to rehydrate and regenerate his intervertebral spinal discs. This has been "astonishingly" successful!!!!
